About this shop
Grassy Key Marina features a fully stocked on-site marketplace known as the Grassy Key Marina Grocery, providing a convenient one-stop shop for anglers before hitting the water. The shop carries a solid selection of fishing tackle, basic gear, and beach essentials, alongside convenient extras like ice, cold drinks, snacks, beer, and wine. For anglers looking for bait options, they regularly keep a well-stocked cooler of premium frozen bait, including Baitmasters brand thread herring and mullet. When it comes to live bait, availability can be hit-or-miss depending on the season and delivery schedules, as recent visitors have noted that the live tanks are sometimes empty. If live shrimp, pinfish, or other live species are an absolute necessity for your trip, it is highly recommended to call the marina directly at +1 305-922-2665 to check their daily inventory before arriving. If they happen to be out, reliable alternatives like Captain Hooks or Off The Hook Bait & Tackle are located just an 11-minute drive away in Marathon.
