About this shop
Island Discount Tackle is a family-owned fishing tackle shop located at Keyes Marina in Holmes Beach, Florida, on Anna Maria Island. Established in 1988, this premier full-service store serves both freshwater and saltwater anglers with top-tier gear from premium brands like Shimano, Penn, St. Croix, and G. Loomis. Known locally as "The BIGGEST Little Tackle Shop in Florida," the store features an unmatched regional selection of fly fishing gear, over 100 saltwater fly patterns, and customized tie-to-order options. Because it is situated inside the marina, visitors also have direct land or water access to marine-grade gasoline, boat slip rentals, professional charter captains, and on-site marine repairs. To ensure anglers are fully prepared for their trips, the shop is a reliable source for both live and frozen bait options. They stock high-demand live shrimp kept in specialized tanks alongside a wide variety of packaged frozen baits tailored for the region's inshore, nearshore, and offshore species. Alongside its bait and tackle selection, the store streamlines preparation by issuing Florida fishing licenses on-site and providing expert, up-to-date local fishing advice.
