About this shop
Mike's Bait House is a premier, family-owned bait and tackle shop located at 2052 Danford St in Naples, Florida. Nestled at the corner of Thomasson Drive, this community hub is a favorite pre-trip destination for local anglers and boaters heading out into the coastal waters. The store operates six days a week from 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM, though it remains closed on Tuesdays and traditionally takes a seasonal break during August and September before reopening on October 1st.
The shop is highly regarded for maintaining a steady supply of premium, lively live baits, which routinely includes live shrimp and pinfish tailored for the region's saltwater targets. Beyond its essential tackle and fresh bait tanks, the destination sets itself apart by doubling as a neighborhood market. Visitors can stock their coolers with cold drinks, homemade Cuban sandwiches, artisanal beef jerky, and acclaimed smoked fish dips, making it a true one-stop shop before a day on the water.
