About this shop
Ruskin Bait Shop (formerly known as Ruskin Bait & Tackle) is a longstanding community staple in Ruskin, Florida, that has been serving local anglers for over 30 years. In March 2023, the historical business transitioned to new owners, Brian and Regan, who continue to operate the shop with a focus on friendly, knowledgeable service. Strategically located on U.S. Highway 41, the store serves as a convenient checkout point for fishers heading to popular regional spots like Cockroach Bay or Bishop Harbor.
The shop provides a broad selection of fishing tackle, rods, reels, buckets, and frozen bait to supply visitors with everything needed for a full day on the water. Their main highlight includes fresh live bait delivered daily, which features greenbacks, pinfish, fiddler crabs, and live shrimp priced according to size or count.
